Margaret whooley runs one of the most relaxed bars in the country: known affectionately as "the tin pub" after its corrugated iron roof, it has a lovely rambling country garden going down to the water at the back, where children are very welcome to burn off excess energy.. The kids loved the small beach down by the tin shed. the tin shed was closed for the season but arundels open and very pleasant. plenty to do in the area. a visit to mizen head a must and barleycove beech was just amazing. ahakista, including the drive in, is one of the most beautiful places we've been. peaceful and incredibly scenic.

A stop at the tin pub is an essential part of a trip to the sheep’s head peninsula. the tin pub – which is as you might have guessed constructed from tin! -has remained the same since day one..
